Who Can Open a Trump Account?
Eligibility Requirements
- Age: Must be an individual who has not reached age 18 before the end of the calendar year
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
- SSN: Must possess a valid Social Security Number
- One Account Per Child: Limited to exactly ONE Trump Account per child
Account Management
Until the child reaches age 18, the account is managed by an "Authorized Individual," which can be:
- Parent or legal guardian
- State foster agency (in applicable cases)
This authorized individual acts as the sole custodian and makes all investment and deposit decisions on behalf of the child.
The Account Opening Process
To open a Trump Account, you will need:
- Child's Social Security Number
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency
- Custodian's identification
